"If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space. My career ambition is to stay on the forefront of new media, using new communications and information technologies for global reporting.

After I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism at QUT, I went on to complete a Master of Arts (Research) in QUT's School of Media and Journalism in July 2000. This qualification, in the new media field, is a passport to work anywhere in the world.

As a result of my qualifications and this research, I was offered a range of jobs, including Internet Journalist, Educator and Consultant by a variety of news organizations and educational institutions. However, I decided to finish the work I was doing in Journalism at QUT where I lecture in online news production and contribute to the internationalization of the journalism course."
