TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Nisar Keshvani worked
as a journalist for the Olympic News Service, the official news
provider for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, throughout the Games period
(16 September - 1 October 2000).
Nisar was based at the State Hockey Centre where his professionalism
and ability to write to tight deadlines made him an invaluable member
of the reporting team. |
During his time at Homebush Bay Nisar wrote regular reviews of Olympic
hockey matches, interviewed leading playery - sometimes through an
interpreter - and attended press conferences. His reports appeared
on the official (and highly acclaimed) Games information service,
INFO, where they were picked up by the national and international
media and subsequently used in Olympic news coverage worldwide.
Challenges in sports journalism don't come any bigger than the Olympics.
Nisar proved himself equal to them, consistently providing fast and
accurate copy written in the clear, concise style required by ONS.
He got on well with the rest of the team and was a pleasure to work
with.
I would not hesitate in recommending Nisar to you and wish him every
success in his future career. Yours truly
Ingrid Morris
