The award winning Hamadryas Baboons - The Great Rift Valley of
Ethiopia (voted Best New Attraction in Asean 2002, by Asean Tourism
Association) exhibit at the Singapore Zoological Gardens features
a troop of colourful baboons, jackals, banded mongoose & rock
hyrax interacting with herds of ibex on massive rock hillside
amidst tribal artefacts and coffee ceremony huts. It is a 8,000
square metre journey featuring the various Ethiopian endemic animals,
a total of 200 artifacts as well as the 3.2 million years old
complete skeleton of 'Lucy'.
